My camera has manual settings? Who knew?

Passerelle des Arts is a pedestrian bridge in Paris where couples will place locks with the date they visited.

I have finally made a little progress in my photography skills in the manual setting!  Today (Monday), Laura and I went to the Arc de Triomphe to get a better view of the city.  We spent about 2.5 hours on the top (7:00-9:30ish) to get a view of the city during the day, sunset, and night.  I have attached a few of my favorites from our adventures today!

Earlier in the day we were wandering aimlessly (again) and came across the Passerelle des Arts, which is a pedestrian bridge over the Siene where couples will place locks with the date they visited.  Romantic and sweet.. typical of Paris!  Laura and I noticed that many of the locks were from 2011 and 2012.  We are assuming they need to cut many of them off each year because of the quantity of locks that are added.

We had lunch today at a café off the beaten path.  I had the Croque-Poulet, which is a variation of the Croque-Monsieur with chicken.  I don't think I will ever tire of ordering this for a meal. Incredibly delicious, but probably terrible for me, which makes me thankful for the amount of walking that we are doing.  :)

After a nap, and visiting the Arc de Triomphe, we wandered back to the area of Montmartre where we grabbed a sandwich at a local restaurant that we have been to about 3 times since arriving.  I had a falefal kebab, which was incredible.  I. Love. Food.

Tomorrow we will be meeting up with Thomas and Nicholas (another friend we met through Thomas who is an architect) for a café.  We will get to see the office where he works, which will be an awesome experience I'm sure.

I am off to finish my glass of wine, which is fantastically cheap here! Santé (cheers!)
